We highly recommend scheduling their first visit ASAP. There are a number of reasons for this:
1) We would like to cuddle and make a fuss over them!!! Believe it or not, this is not just for our benefit. During this young age making positive associations with being at the vet is really important and teaches pets that going to the vet really isn’t that bad.
2) The first few months are a critical period in development. A thorough health check over will help us give you the support and tools necessary to help your new pet grow into a well-mannered, happy and healthy little individual.
3) A new pet is a responsibility for life! There is a lot to do in the first few months of pet ownership in particular. We need to establish a time table to make sure that you meet all their needs. We want to answer any questions you may have and set you up with the best and most current pet ownership information.
